A celebration workshop full of fun and interesting information

Topics include:

  • The Islamic hijri calendar & the important events /occasions of its months.
  • The value of Ramadan, its etiquette & virtues.
  • The true meaning of fasting, its rules and benefits
  • The virtues of laylatul alqadr & the recommended acts on the last 10 nights of Ramadan.
  • The meaning of Taqwa & how fasting taught us the fear of Allah (SWT).

Age group:* 6-9 years old

Practical skills of Quran reflection (sisters)

✨ QI Learning in cooperation with Greenbank Masjid is pleased to announce free 6hrs course about the practical skills of Quran reflection for sisters only.

πŸŒ™ The course will generally cover the the following key points :

β–ͺ️The main topics of the Quran & how to identify the themes of each Surah.

β–ͺ️Recognizing particular topics throughout different surahs in order to make a purposeful Quran reciting “Khatma”

β–ͺ️The rules of Arabic literature and how it impacts the understanding of themes in the Qur’an and applying it in our lives.

β–ͺ️How the Prophet (SAW) interacted with the Qur’an and turned it into a lifestyle.

Dates and times
⏰ Free 6hrs course over 3 days:

  • Mon 6th March [11-1pm] .
    Mon13th March [11-1pm] .
    Mon 20th March [11-1pm] .

Note: The course will be delivered in Arabic.

Making our Salaah the coolness of our eyes (sisters’ course)

The Prophet (SAW) said β€œ the coolness of my eyes is in prayer. ”

Would you like to attend a 5 week course that will improve the pronunciation of everything we recite in salah and attempt to understand and ponder over the words?

We are hoping this course will allow us to revive and regain closeness to our creator before the blessed month so we can maximise our rewards and start living and loving the prayer.

Zaid Ibne Khalid Al Juhani (R.A) narrates that Nabi (S.A.W) said : Anyone who performs Wudhu excellently and then offers two Rak’at Salaah in a way that he does not forget anything in it (with total concentration towards Allah the Almighty) then all his past sins are forgiven.

It will take place every Tuesday for 5 weeks starting from 28/02/23 – 28/03/23 from 11-12pm.

Fee – Β£20 (limited spaces available)

This course is open to dedicated and zealous sisters who wish to refine their recitation in Salaah.

Instructor – Ustaadha Umme Talha

Umme Talha: Studied Aalimiyah and secular studies at a home schooling project in Birmingham (Kingsheath) – Madresah Tayyibah under the guidance of local Ulema.

She has over 3 years teaching experience from local maktab (Birmingham) and home tuition (Birmingham and Bristol).

As well teaching online during the pandemic, Umme Talha currently teaches from home in Bristol.
