Islamic Essentials Course

This two-year Islamic course is specifically designed for brothers and sisters wishing to study core Islamic subjects. Delivered in English, this comprehensive course will equip mature students with knowledge and deep understanding of Islam.

The course content has been carefully selected so that key topics are studied and essential subjects covered in a short period of time. The course will be delivered once a week for 1 ½ hours.

Lessons are delivered in English and will cover the study of the following subjects:

• Translation and Commentary of the Holy Qur’an
• Study of Fiqh
• Understanding of Aqaaid and Beliefs

On completion of this course students will have attained a sound understanding of the core tenets of Islam, which will equip them to meet the challenges of modern-day life as a Muslim without compromising their religion.

The course will help Muslim brothers and Sisters to learn about Islam from a foundation level to a higher level providing them with knowledge and understanding of Islam. This will enable students to conduct their life in accordance with the commands of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet ﷺ

We understand the demands of modern life and the busy lifestyle we live so we have deliberately kept lessons short but focused and rich but not overwhelming, ensuring that only very limited study outside of lessons is required.

By the end of the course students will have the satisfaction of practicing their Deen with the knowledge from the Qur’an and the Sunnah together with the ability to understand and translate parts of the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic Hadith from Arabic.
