Sisters Quran Recitation Course

The first step to developing a strong, unshakable relationship with the Book of Allāh is learning how to recite it properly. This is achieved by firstly building a firm foundation by way of studying Qāʿidah.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Such a person who recites the Qur’an and masters it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven). And such a person exerts himself to learn the Qur’an by heart, and recites it with great difficulty, will have a double reward.”

Join our qualified, female teacher; Ustaadha Umme Talha in a focused, dedicated class of 8 students to reach this goal.

This course is not only aimed towards teaching you the steps to reciting the Qur’an but also instilling love for the Qur’an and Sunnah in your hearts.

What you will learn:

  • Ability to learn Arabic with ease and confidence
  • Correct pronunciation of the Arabic alphabet
  • Recognition of its letters
  • Recognition of its vowels
  • Love for the Qur’an

Course details:

  • Wednesdays 10am – 11am (5 week course)
  • Starting Wednesday 5 July 2023
  • Course price: £20

Hajj course

Introducing the Weekly Hajj Course: Unlocking the Spiritual Journey

Study the spiritual and practical method of Hajj in an interactive course with Shaikh Hamzah at Greenbank Masjid.

Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam and fardh upon every sane Muslim adult who has the ability to perform Hajj.

Allah Most High says,

Pilgrimage to the House is a duty owed to Allah by all who can make their way to it. As for those who refuse to follow His command, surely Allah does not stand in need of anything.

Quran 3:97

For most of us, performing Hajj is a once in a lifetime opportunity

The importance of Hajj and the fact that we might only get one shot at it makes it even more crucial that we get Hajj right.
