  • The academic year runs from September 2025 to the end of July 2026, and term dates match the local school calendar.
  • The madrassah will be closed during special Islamic dates, such as Ramadan and Eid days.
  • Students will only be accepted subject to class availability. If no spaces are available, applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are expected.
  • By enrolling a child, parents agree to uphold the responsibilities set out in the Parent Responsibility Policy (Parent Contract).
  • Students are expected to meet the Madrasah's Behaviour Standards, as set out in the Behaviour Policy.

Class Timings

Sessions run Monday to Friday. Each child attends one of the following sessions:

  • First Session4:40pm – 5:55pm
  • Second Session6:05pm – 7:20pm

Drop-off and Pick-up Safety

For the safety of all children, parents must park legally and safely during drop-off and pick-up. Children must be escorted to the entrance and parents should ensure their child enters the building safely before leaving. Unsafe behaviour, including stopping or waiting in the road, may result in further action and could lead to a child's place being revoked.

Attendance and Lateness

Regular attendance and punctuality are expected from all students.

  • Parents must notify the madrasah of any absence in advance via the Parent Portal.
  • Holidays taken during term time are treated as unauthorised absences.
  • Repeated or unexplained absence or lateness may result in a review of a child's place on the programme.
  • Fees remain payable regardless of attendance, including absence or lateness.

Full details are set out in the Attendance & Lateness Policy.

Fees

The fees for the academic year are £32 per child per month. Fees are charged monthly and in advance and relate to the month of attendance.

Fees are based on full-time enrolment. Fees are not reduced for part-time attendance, as teaching and support costs remain the same and the child continues to occupy a place in the class.

  • Direct Debit must be set up through the Parent Portal once a child is assigned a class.
  • Where payment is made by Direct Debit, payments are taken within 7 days after the due date. Direct Debits can be set up, amended, or cancelled through the Parent Portal, and changes may take up to 7 business days to take effect.
  • Parents using other approved payment methods are responsible for ensuring payment is made at least 5 days before the due date to avoid Direct Debit being processed.
  • Payments by cash or bank transfer, where approved, will incur a £5 administrative charge. Bank transfers are only permitted in exceptional circumstances and require prior approval.
  • Fees are reviewed annually, and any changes will be communicated to parents in advance.

Late or missed payments

Fees are due at the start of each month. If payment is not received by the due date, a reminder will be issued via the Parent Portal. Continued non-payment may result in a temporary suspension of attendance or withdrawal of the child's place.

Refunds and absences

Fees are charged on a monthly basis and are non-refundable. Fees remain payable for the full month regardless of attendance, including absence, holidays, or if a child leaves the programme part-way through a month.
