📝 New Registration
- Enrolment is now closed
- The academic year runs from September 2025 to the end of July 2026, and to support parents, term dates match the local school calendar.
- The madrassah will be closed during special Islamic dates, such as Ramadan and Eid days.
- Students will only be accepted subject to class availability. If no spaces are available, applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
- A one-off enrolment fee of £20 is payable upon admission. This covers the cost of books for the first year.
- Regular attendance and punctuality is expected.

📚 Our Curriculum
We follow the An-Nasīhah Islamic Curriculum, delivering a structured and engaging syllabus tailored to nurture spiritual, moral, and intellectual growth.
Subjects Taught:
- Islamic Studies
- Qurʾānic Studies (Tajwīd & Memorisation)
- Tarbiyah (Character Building)
The curriculum is designed to:
- Cultivate a deep love for Islam and lifelong connection to the Qurʾān and Sunnah
- Equip students with essential Islamic knowledge and character
- Support holistic development spiritually, morally, socially, and intellectually
- Promote good citizenship, mutual respect, and service to the community
💷 Fees
The fees for the academic year are £32 per child per month. Payments are made monthly and in advance.
- Direct Debit will need to be set up through the Parent Portal once the child is assigned a class.
- Payments are taken within 7 days after the due date.
- Direct debits can be cancelled at any time by sending an email to [email protected].
- Cancellations can take up to 7 business days to process.
- Payments by other means should be made 5 days before the due date so direct debit is not processed.
- Fees paid by cash or bank transfer will incur an admin charge of £5.
- Fees are non-refundable if a child leaves during the month.
- Transfers to bank accounts may be approved under exceptional cases and are subject to a £5 admin charge.
🕒 Class Timings
Sessions run Monday to Friday. Each child attends one of the following sessions:
- First Session: 4:40pm – 5:55pm
- Second Session: 6:05pm – 7:20pm
👩🏽🏫 Our Teaching Team
Shaykh Zainulabedin Hanslod
Shaykh Zainulabedin completed his Ḥifẓ at Jāmiʿa Darul Ehsan, receiving both the Hifz Graduate and Hifz & Tajwīd Academic Achievement Award. He later graduated from the ʿĀlimiyyah programme at Dārul ʿUlūm Falah-e-Darain, where he was awarded the ʿĀlim Academic Achievement Award and studied Tafsīr, Ḥadīth, Fiqh, Uṣūl al-Fiqh, Uṣūl al-Ḥadīth, Arabic grammar, Balāghah, and other core Islamic sciences.
Since arriving in the UK, he has served as an Imām for Jumuʿah and daily prayers at several masājid, delivering reminders, supporting worshippers, and engaging with the local community. He also has experience teaching Qurʾān, Tajwīd, and Maktab subjects, drawing on his strong grounding in Islamic scholarship and pastoral care.
Fluent in Arabic, Urdu, and Gujarati, Shaykh Zainulabedin is known for his clear recitation, approachable manner, and commitment to serving the community through imamate work, teaching, and spiritual guidance.
Tasbiha Masookali
A Ḥāfiẓah of Qurʾān, having completed her memorisation at Jāmiʿah al-Kawthar, Lancaster, under the guidance of Mawlānā Faḍl al-Ḥaqq. She has taught continuously since 2009, working with students from age 5 to 60, delivering Tajwīd and Qurʾān both online and in person. Alongside her teaching, she is a qualified accountant, with experience in both private and public sectors, including serving as a school finance governor.
Saleha Wadee
Received her early Islamic education under her father, Muftī Sulaymān Wadee, studying Qurʾān, Tajwīd, Fiqh, Ḥadīth, and Arabic. She continued her studies at Gloucester Islamic School for Girls under Muftī ʿAbdullāh Patel. Saleha has been teaching since 2005, working with learners of varying abilities, managing large classes, and fostering student development. She is a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant and currently works in a primary school.
Sajida Wadee
Completed her Qurʾān and Tajwīd studies with her father and pursued further Islamic education at Gloucester Islamic School, studying Fiqh, ʿAqāʾid, Tafsīr, and Islamic History under Muftī ʿAbdullāh Patel. She has taught since 2011 under Shaykh Ilyās, delivering Qurʾān, Qaʿidah, Juz ʿAmmah, Panj Para, and the Tasheel syllabus to large classes. She is experienced in managing behaviour, tailoring learning approaches to suit individual student needs.
Robina Kosar
Has served the Madrasah for over 20 years, teaching Qurʾān with Tajwīd to hundreds of students. A Ḥāfiẓah of Qurʾān, she has helped students achieve their memorisation and recitation goals across all age groups. She also has experience in mainstream education, having completed all relevant training and recently earned a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Sadaf Farooq
Has been a committed teacher at the Madrasah since 2004. She completed her Qurʾān and Tajwīd training in Pakistan and has taught generations of students with diverse learning abilities. She provides one-to-one support for students requiring personalised attention and is highly experienced in adapting her teaching to ensure inclusive and effective learning for all.
