Find a Spouse Matrimony Service
Greenbank Masjid is thrilled to introduce our commitment to helping our Muslim brothers and sisters complete their deen by entering into matrimony.
Our aim is to provide a service that assists not only those looking to get married for the first time, but also those who have experienced the difficulties of divorce or widowhood. We recognise that it has become more and more challenging to find suitable partners.
We are looking to create a database that will hold marriage profiles of Muslim Brothers & Sisters, transcending diverse backgrounds and origins, with the main requirement being a shared faith in Islam.
If you, or someone you know, is seeking a life partner, or if you are a concerned parent looking on behalf of your son or daughter, we invite you to complete our online registration form. Please be aware that this service is only available to those who are at least 18 years old and a UK resident, in keeping with our dedication to mature and responsible matchmaking.
The cost to register is £10, we’ll use this money to administrate the service. We may change the price for new applicants if our cost to administer the service increases.
It is important to remember that our service only acts as a facilitator for those who are interested, and it is their duty to carry out due diligence before committing. Greenbank Masjid will not bear any responsibility for individuals’ shortcomings in this regard.
All details submitted will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and assessed on an individual basis. We will only share contact details of each party once we have permission from both parties. If we find a possible match, we might get in touch with you using the information you gave. If either party wants to follow up with the possible match, they are free to do so.
The process / what happens next
- Complete and submit the registration form
- We’ll check the registration form and payment
- We’ll remove your personal details and create a 1-page profile for you
- We’ll distribute the profile on a regular basis on the WhatsApp group for potential suitors. Please note we send the profiles of all registered suitors and are not able to customise and send only those that meet your requirements.
- If we receive any interest from a potential suitor, we’ll let you know and with your agreement we’ll pass on your details
- We’ll also look through the profiles and approach both parties if we think there is a potential match

6. Code of Conduct

a. Greenbank Masjid facilitates the introduction of potential matches based on the information provided in profiles.
b. The final decision to pursue a relationship rests with the individuals involved.
8. Communication
a. Users must only communicate with the other party with consent.
b. Harassment or misuse of communication tools is strictly prohibited.
9. Termination of Membership
a. Greenbank Masjid reserves the right to terminate the membership of any user who violates these terms and conditions.
b. Users can deregister from the service at anytime by informing Greenbank Masjid.
10. Limitation of Liability
a. Greenbank Masjid is not responsible for the success or failure of any relationship resulting from the matrimony service.
b. Users agree that Greenbank Masjid is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the service.
11. Modifications to Terms
Greenbank Masjid reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of changes, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
12. Data Protection and GDPR Compliance
